Resurrecting the Renaissance Man is an editorial journal for the unfinished work of becoming a whole person. It takes the old idea — that a life should have many benches in it — and prints it for a reader who still has an afternoon.

The topics are legion on purpose. Letters sit beside markets. Pictures sit beside tools. Atlanta light sits beside the night sky. This is not a productivity method and not a personal brand. It is a place to read slowly, in a typeface that remembers books.

Josh Snyder, CFA, writes from Atlanta. The day job is markets. The rest of the week is for the other rooms of the house: notebooks, walks, pictures, the civic unglamorous, and the occasional piece of furniture that talks back.
